Humanity’s servers are located on the AWS Cloud in N.Virginia (us-east-1), USA and it is monitored 24/7 to ensure that the servers are always safe and your data always available. Data center is compliant with most of industry certificates, including ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, HITRUST, PCI, FedRAMP, FERPA etc.

Humanity SaaS server/storage infrastructure production environment where customer data is stored is in AWS cloud data center in AWS East (N.Virginia) Region, USA.
Backup data are also stored in Amazon AWS S3 in AWS East (Ohio) Region, USA, replicated in two availability zones.

AWS Cloud data center (where Humanity keeps Client’s data) has undergone a comprehensive SOC 2 certification audit and is compliant with most of industry related certificates.

All communication between our clients and application are encrypted with strong SSL encryption (TLS 1.2) to keep your data safe and private.

Humanity has met the security and privacy standards to be named a trusted app by BBB’s online privacy service. Humanity also self-certifies compliance with the US/EU Safe Harbor. For more information see our privacy policy.

Clients data is accessible on a “Need To Know” base by Humanity employees. Apart from it, every Humanity employee has the NDA signed with company.

Data is used only for uninterrupted/optimal functioning of Humanity web application.

Some customer employee data elements are transferred to third party service providers.

We do not sell any of the customer data. We transfer some Personal data elements to third parties, under contractual agreements, for integrations, BI and customer support providing purposes. On your request, we can provide you list of our 3rd party services.

No, we don't process payment directly and don't keep credit card data. Instead, we are using 3rd Party payment processors (e.g. PayPal, Zuora).

Humanity boasts an impressive uptime track record of +99.9% for server availability. Users can check on uptime anytime through our Status Dashboard to receive real time updates.

Estimated time for resuming normal operations is up to 8 hours. There are no special contractual guarantees for it.

When we detect a data breach, we will notify our Customer within 72h. We are always working in the best interests of our clients.

The automatic timeout feature will put all the Humanity at ease, as it will automatically log out any user after a period of time that you choose to set in your admin settings. This ensures that user accounts are safe even if the user leaves the computer with their account still logged on.

To ensure that your data is always safe, we perform incremental database backup on every 5 minutes, using Amazon RDS. We also perform a full database backup on every 24h. All backups are stored encrypted on Amazon AWS S3.
